Trudy Cadoo – Naturopath

Trudy Cadoo – Founder of Wellness for Women Clinic
Naturopath & Functional Medicine Practitioner

Trudy Cadoo is passionate about helping people renew their health and vitality—naturally. She has worked in the natural health field since 1996 and qualified as a Naturopath in 2000. Over the past two decades, she has supported hundreds of clients with a personalised, results-driven approach rooted in both traditional naturopathic principles and modern functional medicine.

Trudy is especially drawn to helping busy women regain balance, energy, and a sense of control over their health—supporting them to thrive in all aspects of life. She takes the time to understand each client’s unique story, working systematically to uncover underlying imbalances and health drivers.

Using a combination of clinical experience, functional testing, and a holistic mindset, Trudy designs tailored wellness plans that include dietary and lifestyle strategies, supported by high-quality herbal and nutritional supplementation.

She consults across a wide range of health concerns and has developed strong clinical expertise in:

  • Women’s health & hormonal balance

  • Detoxification and gut health

  • Stress and adrenal support

  • Natural fertility and preconception care

  • Weight management and energy optimisation

Trudy believes true health is more than the absence of disease—it’s a state of balance between the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of life. By identifying and addressing the root causes of dysfunction, she helps clients build a strong foundation for lasting wellness.

“Getting the person’s health foundation right is the goal. If we can understand the drivers of ‘dis-ease,’ we can stop the acceleration to disease. The ultimate outcome is optimal health and wellbeing.” — Trudy Cadoo

I believe that women are simply more complex—physically, emotionally, and hormonally. Many are striving to be everything to everyone: the mother, the career woman, the housekeeper, the family organiser, the partner. Over time, this constant juggling act can take a toll on both body and mind.

My passion for natural medicine was sparked early in life. I witnessed my mother’s journey through serious illness—first with Ross River Fever in the 1980s, and later with breast cancer in the early 2000s. It was during these times that I saw both the fragility of health and the profound potential of natural medicine to support healing and resilience.

That experience has fuelled a lifelong commitment to learning, evolving, and sharing what I know. My goal is to help women understand their bodies, catch imbalances early, and take empowered steps to restore vitality and prevent illness from progressing.

Gaining balance—across diet, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, and stress—isn’t just about feeling good now. It’s about creating a strong foundation for long-term health and thriving in the years to come.
